Registration for fall 2025 opens July 28th!

Classes Begin in August 18th, 2025! Registration open July 28th.

Class Schedule:


Monday: 4:30pm-5:30pm

 PCT Children's Chorus

This class is dedicated to learning and performing traditional choral literature as well as music theater classics, open to grades 4 through high school.


Tuesday: 4:30pm-5:30pm

3rd-5th grade class

Students continue their growth in theater arts and begin character development as well as expanding comfortability on stage.
Taught by Rebecca Robinson


Wednesday: 4:30pm-5:30pm 

6th-8th grade  class

Students fine-tune stage craft and begin scenic work.
Taught by Lucia Bunch


Thursday Cast: 4:30pm-5:30pm 

Advanced class (9th grade and up or by audition)

Students learn advanced theater techniques.

Taught by Laura Hutchings


All Classes will be held at the Plaza Theatre, downtown.

FAQs

  • Tuition for the fall semester for EITHER Children's Chorus or Theater classes is $300. If enrolled in BOTH Theater and Chorus, tuition is $350.
  • Yes, tuition is higher in the Spring Semester. It costs about $100/child to costume them, not to mention props, set construction, and time that goes into producing live theater.
  • Classes are to begin August 18th.
  • Monthly payments can be divided equally across 3 months and are due the first week of each month.
  • ALL payments must be made to PCT directly.
  • All previous balances to PCT from previous semesters/workshops must be paid before students will be admitted into class.
  • 3rd Grade will now be grouped with the Tuesday class.
  • PCT will be eliminating the Kindergarten - 2nd grade age group as of the fall of 2025.
  • Parents/Guardians must sign their students in and out of every class and rehearsal. Students will NOT be admitted into class unless they have been signed in.
  • If a student exhibits poor behavior in any class, PCT reserves the right to remove that student from the class. Refunded tuition is NOT guaranteed.
  • PCT is currently working on providing an advanced class for our returning older students. Please stay tuned for updates.
  • Any student with excessive absences may influence future casting decisions.

About Scholarships


Scholarships Applications will be open until all positions are filled. Scholarships are need-based and evaluated on case-by case basis. 

Scholarships are provided by a grant from United Way of Lamar County. Support the arts, give to the United Way!


  • All previous scholarship recipients must reapply and are not guaranteed.
  • Scholarship students are expected to maintain exemplary attendance and discuss any absences with the teacher.
  • If behavior becomes an issue with any scholarship students, the teacher may request that  scholarships be revoked from said students.
